Ursa Minor

For budding astronomers Iain's star is part of Ursa Minor and has the following co-ordinates: RA15h7m28.08s D79°2'33.10" and a magnitude of 13.4.

He is a long, long way away and as a result very little emitted light reaches earth.  Consequently a relatively powerful telescope with a wide (~200mm) lens is required.
