Our son, Iain James Goodwill, was born on 22 May 2006. He was a delightful baby – good natured and happy, sleeping and eating well, very interested in everything going on around him. Iain's potential was unlimited. He was intelligent, fit, active, musical and increasingly articulate. Tragically this potential was all lost when he was killed in October 2007 by an accidentally-started car. We miss him immensely and his death at the age of only seventeen months is something we will never come to terms with or begin to understand.
